Imelda Clabby from Ireland is the wife of one of today's most popular Rockabilly artists, Darrel Higham. She already had some appearances on his albums over the years and now established herself as a solo recording artist with a leading swing band to great effect. Born in Dublin, Ireland, Imelda began her career as a child performing with success in various musicals around Ireland. This led to some TV work like the "Late, Late Show" and appearances at The Olympia, The Gaiety and the National Concert Hall. She then began a lengthy residency at Satchmo's; Dublin's Premier Jazz Restaurant, and toured extensively in Ireland with the likes of Richie Buckley, Mary Stokes, Kirsty McCall and Rolling Stones guitarist Ron Wood. You'll shiver and shake while she's chirpin' her melodies and singin' and swingin' through these 14 rockin' and rollin' tracks. A highly recommended release!
